Overview
Managing availability, same-day check-ins, and preparation time in PropertyStack ensures smooth operations and avoids conflicts in reservations. The Policies section in the Property Details allows users to configure these settings efficiently.
Step 1: Navigate to the Property List
Click on the Menu icon in the left sidebar.
Select Property List from the options.
Locate the property you want to manage.
Click on the Edit (Pencil) Icon next to the property.
Step 2: Access the Policies Section
In the Property Details menu, select Policies from the left-side navigation panel.
The Policies section will display various booking-related configurations.
Step 3: Configure Availability and Booking Settings
Rolling Window
Defines how far in advance a property can be booked.
The maximum allowed value is 365 days.
Example: If set to 180 days, the availability will always be open from the present date to 180 days ahead on a rolling day basis.
Advanced Notice
Ensures a minimum notice period before check-in to prevent last-minute bookings.
Example: Setting it to 1 day will prevent same-day check-ins.
Day Before Block & Day After Block
Adds buffer time between reservations for property preparation.
Day Before Block: Blocks availability the day before a reservation starts.
Day After Block: Blocks availability the day after a reservation ends.
This feature allows for addressing any specific requirements and for necessary cleaning and maintenance before and after guest stays.
