Overview
Property pairing in PropertyStack allows users to sync availability between paired properties, ensuring that when one is booked, the other is automatically blocked. This feature is particularly useful for managing listings that share availability. Follow the steps below to pair properties successfully.
Step 1: Navigate to the Property List
Click on the Menu icon from the left-side panel.
Select Property List to access all active and inactive properties.
Locate the property you want to pair and click on the Edit (pencil) icon.
Step 2: Go to Settings and Select Property Pairing
Once inside the property details page, navigate to Settings in the left panel.
Scroll down to find the Property Pairing section.
Click on the + Add Pairing button.
Step 3: Select a Property to Pair
A pop-up window will appear displaying a list of properties.
Use the search bar to find the property you want to pair.
Click on the property to select it.
Click the Add to Pair button to confirm.
Illustration:
If Property A is selected as the primary listing, you can pair it with Property B by searching for it in the list and confirming the pairing. This ensures both properties do not get double-booked.
Confirmation
Once the property is paired, its availability will be synchronized with the selected property. This means that if one property is booked, the other will automatically have its availability blocked.
Example: If a guest books Property A for the weekend, Property B will automatically be unavailable for the same dates, preventing overlapping reservations.
Important Notes:
Property pairing ensures that availability is updated in real-time.
You can unpair a property anytime by returning to the Property Pairing section and removing the paired property.
Paired properties should be carefully managed to avoid availability conflicts.
By following these steps, you can efficiently manage availability across multiple listings using PropertyStack's property pairing feature.
