How to add a bill or invoice in PropertyStack?

Overview

Managing invoices and bills efficiently in PropertyStack ensures smooth financial transactions and accurate record-keeping. This guide walks you through the steps to add a bill to a property and process payments.


Step 1: Navigate to the Billing Section

  1. Click on the Menu icon from the left-side panel.

  2. Select Property List to access all active and inactive properties.

  3. Locate the property for which you want to add a bill and click on the Edit (pencil) icon.


Step 2: Access the Billing Tab

  1. Inside the property details page, navigate to the Billing tab in the left menu.

  2. Click on the + Add Bill button to begin adding a new bill.


Step 3: Enter Bill Details

  1. A pop-up window will appear where you can enter the bill details:

    • Invoice ID: Input a unique invoice identifier.

    • Payee: Select the contractor or supplier being paid.

    • Description: Provide a brief description of the bill.

    • Amount: Specify the amount.

    • Code: Select the appropriate charge category.

    • Payment Method: Choose the payment method (e.g., bank transfer).

    • Due Date: Set a due date for the bill.

    • Attach Files: If any.

  2. Click on Add Charge to save the bill.


Step 4: Pay a Bill

  1. Locate the bill in the Pending section or search for it using the search bar.

  2. Select the bill by checking the box next to it.

  3. Click on Deduct All to process the payment.

  4. The bill will be moved to the Paid section after a successful deduction.


Confirmation

Once a bill is successfully added and deducted, it will be reflected in the Paid section. This ensures all transactions are recorded accurately for financial tracking.

By following these steps, you can efficiently add and manage bills for properties in PropertyStack.
