The "Advanced Notice" feature in PropertyStack is designed to set a minimum notice period required before a guest can check in. This feature helps property managers prevent same-day bookings and ensures that enough time is available for preparation before a guest arrives. For example, if you set an advanced notice of 1 day, guests will only be able to book at least 1 day before the check-in date.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Access the Property List:
On the PropertyStack dashboard, navigate to the Property List section.
Select the property you want to edit and click the Edit Property icon.

Note: This setting is applied to each property individually, so you need to adjust it per property.
2. Go to Property Policies:
In the property editing screen, select the Policies tab from the menu on the left.
3. Locate the Advanced Notice Field:
Under the Booking Policies section, you will find the Advanced Notice field. This is where you set the minimum number of days required for check-ins.

4. Set the Advanced Notice:
Enter the desired number of days in the Advanced Notice field.
For example, if you want to prevent same-day check-ins, enter 1. This means that guests will only be able to book at least one day in advance.
Note: A higher number of days will give you more lead time, while a lower number (e.g., 0) can allow for same-day check-ins if that's your preference.
5. Remove or Adjust Advanced Notice:
If you wish to remove or change the advanced notice, simply delete the existing value and enter the new number of days or leave it empty to allow same-day check-ins.
6. Save Changes:
Once you're satisfied with your settings, scroll down and click Save to apply the changes to your property.
