Overview:
In PropertyStack, users, contractors, and owners can reset their passwords by following a simple process. When a password reset is initiated, a password reset link will be sent to the respective email. The following steps outline how to reset the password for users, contractors, and owners.
Steps for Users:
Navigate to Users Section: Open the Users section under Settings. This section will show all active and inactive users in your account.
Select the User: Locate the user for whom you want to reset the password. Click on the Edit icon next to their name to open the profile.
Reset Password: Within the user’s details, you’ll find the option to Reset Password. Click on the button, and a password reset link will be sent to the user’s email address. The user will then be able to reset their password.
Steps for Contractors:
Navigate to Contractors Section: Open the Contractors List section under Users. This section will show all active and inactive contractors.
Select the Contractor: Find the contractor whose password you want to reset. Click on the Edit icon next to their name.
Reset Password: In the contractor’s details, you will see an option to Reset Password. Click the button to send a reset link to the contractor’s email.
Steps for Owners:
Navigate to Owners Section: Open the Owners List section under Users to view all active and inactive owners.
Select the Owner: Find the owner whose password needs to be reset and click on the Edit icon next to their name.
Reset Password: On the owner’s details page, you will find the Reset Password option. Click it to send a reset link to the owner’s email address.
