Objective:
This article guides you through the process of updating the Total Occupancy (maximum number of guests allowed) for a room or unit on your Booking.com listing. You can make this change directly on Booking.com's Extranet.
Steps:
Go to https://admin.booking.com and log in.
Click the Property tab at the top.
Select Room details or Room setup from the dropdown.
Locate the room/unit you’d like to update and click Edit.
Scroll to the Occupancy section.
Adjust the Maximum occupancy to reflect the total number of guests you want to allow.
Click Save.
If the occupancy field is greyed out or not editable, please contact Booking.com support through Inbox > Booking.com Messages > Compose a new message.
NOTE: If you're using a channel manager (like PropertyStack):
Booking.com does not support these changes via API for all setups.
