Objective:

This article will guide you through the process of keeping only the Standard Rate Plan active on Booking.com by removing or deactivating any additional rate plans such as Non-Refundable, Mobile, or Promotional rates. This helps ensure consistency across platforms and simplifies pricing management.

Steps:

  1. Log in to Booking.com Extranet
Go to https://admin.booking.com and log in using your property credentials.

  2. Navigate to Rates & Availability
From the top menu, click on Rates & Availability and choose Calendar or Rate Plans, depending on your view.

  3. Access the Rate Plans List
You’ll see all active rate plans, including “Standard Rate” and others like:

    • Non-refundable

    • Early bird

    • Last-minute

    • Mobile-only

    • Long-stay

  4. Remove or Deactivate Unwanted Rate Plans

    • Click on each non-standard rate plan name.

    • Select Edit, then Deactivate or Delete, if the option is available.

    • If not deletable, set their availability to closed or prices to zero.

  5. Confirm the Standard Rate Plan is Active
Double-check that only the “Standard Rate” is open and visible to guests. This will be the default pricing seen on Booking.com.

  6. Optional – Contact Booking.com Support
If some rate plans cannot be deleted through the Extranet:

    • Go to Inbox > Booking.com Messages > Compose a new message

    • Or contact their support via phone to request removal of specific plans.

Conclusion:

Keeping only the Standard Rate Plan simplifies your rate management and prevents unintentional bookings on outdated or unwanted plans. Follow the steps above or contact Booking.com if manual deletion isn’t available. Once complete, your pricing structure will reflect exactly how you intend it across all guest views.
