In This Article, You Will Learn How to:

  • Locate and select your property for off-boarding.

  • Navigate the off-boarding wizard and enter off-boarding details.

  • Cancel any upcoming bookings.

  • Delist the property from OTA channels.

  • Notify contractors of the off-boarding.

Step 1: Find the Listing for Off-boarding

  1. Prepare for Offboarding

    • Log in to your PropertyStack account.

    • From the left-hand menu, click on icon.

    • Click on "Property List" to view all your properties.

    • Locate the property which you want to offboard and click on

      icon next to it.

    • Once you are in the property edit mode, navigate to the "Settings" tab.

    • Scroll down to find the "Offboard Property" button.

    • Click on it to Offboard the property.

  2. Access "On/Offboarding" from the Sidebar

    • From the left-hand menu, select "Menu Icon" to expand the submenu.

    • Click on "On/Offboarding".

    • Switch to the "Off-boarding" tab.

2. Locate the Listing You Want to Off-board

  • Find the property you wish to off-board.

  • Click on the arrow icon next to the property listing to view details.

Step 2: Start the Off-boarding Wizard with Off-boarding Details

  1. Enter Off-boarding Details

    • Click on "Start Off-boarding" in the property details.

    • Fill in the necessary off-boarding details, including a description, reason, and off-boarding date.

    • Click "Next" to proceed.

Step 3: Cancel Bookings

  1. Navigate to "Bookings To Cancel" Screen

    • The wizard will take you to the "Bookings To Cancel" screen.

    • Review all future bookings and ensure they are cancelled to avoid cancellation fees.

    • Click "Cancel" next to each booking.

    • Click "Next" to proceed.

Note: Ensure bookings are also cancelled in the OTA channels. Learn how to cancel bookings on OTA platforms.

Step 4: Delist from OTAs

  1. Proceed to the "Delist From Platforms" Stage

    • Disconnect the property from each OTA platform, such as Airbnb and Booking.com.

Note: This unmapps and disconnects the listing from the OTA; you MUST go into the OTA to remove the listing from the individual platform.

Also, please email [email protected] with the listing title, and we will unmap the listing on the backend. There is a temporary error with the "disconnect" button within Propertystack

Step 5: Inform Contractors

  1. Reach "Inform Contractors" Stage

    • Notify any associated contractors via email that the property is going offline.

    • Click "Send Email To All" or send individual emails as required.

  • You can send a customised email to all contractors.

Note: This step is crucial to stop contractors from visiting the property after the off-boarding date and to inform cleaning companies to collect all linen and not reset it for the next guest.

Step 6: Confirm and Delete Property

  1. Confirm All Off-boarding Tasks are Complete

    • Ensure that all off-boarding steps are finished.

    • Click "Delete" to remove the property from your listings on PropertyStack.

    • Acknowledge the confirmation prompt to finalize the removal.

Conclusion

Successfully off-boarding your property listing in PropertyStack ensures no unexpected bookings occur and prevents incurring cancellation fees. Always confirm the completion of each step in the off-boarding wizard for a hassle-free transition.

Note: Delisting properties should be done cautiously and only when you are certain no further bookings are desired. Always double-check for outstanding reservations before proceeding with off-boarding to maintain service excellence and avoid disruptions.
